Vanden Brink Lab Presents at ENDO 2025

Over the summer, lab members Hannah Lamar and Joelle Sfeir traveled with Dr. Vanden Brink to present their research at the Endocrine Society Annual Meeting hosted in San Francisco, CA on July 12-15,2025. The Endocrine Society is interested in advancing endocrinology and improving public health through research.


At this conference, Hannah, Joelle, and Dr. Vanden Brink were accepted to present their abstracts as posters. Hannah presented her research with Dr. Vanden Brink in a poster titled, “Differences in the Bile Acid Pool in Post-Menarcheal Adolescents on a Trajectory Towards Polycystic Ovary Syndrome”. Joelle presented her preliminary findings from the NORAH study in a poster titled, “Food Insecurity and Symptoms of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome among Hispanic Adolescents in South Texas.” Dr. Vanden Brink presented some of her work in the poster, “Total Testosterone Before and After Metabolic Bariatric Surgery in Adolescent Females with Obesity”.
